Because a hot week is announced, I suggest we start with one
simple ice cream
and very good.

  • 150 g milk powder
  • 250 ml of milk
  • 200 g condensed milk
  • 250 ml whipped cream

Servings: 4

Preparation time: less than 30 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Milk ice cream:

Put the powdered milk in the bowl that will go in the freezer.

Separately mix condensed milk with whipped cream and milk. Then pour the mixture slowly over the powdered milk and mix lightly with the mixer.

Put the dish in the freezer for 1 hour and a half. Remove the bowl from the freezer and mix to break the ice needles. Put back in the freezer until completely frozen.

  • 400 ml liquid cream
  • 1 small yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 cup sweet milk
  • powdered sugar (to taste)
  1. Beat the whipped cream hard.
  2. Incorporate powdered sugar, yogurt and cocoa powder.
  3. Mix everything for another 1 minute, until smooth.
  4. Add the milk, mix again for 30 seconds, until smooth, and the composition becomes thinner.
  5. Pour everything into a box that can withstand freezing (I had a plastic one).
  6. Put the box in the freezer for 6 hours, and from hour to hour mix it lightly with a fork, to avoid the formation of the ice block.
  7. Remove the box from the freezer about 20 minutes before serving, so that it has time to soften a little and can be removed with the help of the special cup.
  8. Decorate (optional) with fresh mint and serve immediately.
  9. Good appetite!

If you like this cocoa ice cream with milk, please give it 5 stars in the box below and leave me a comment on the blog. Thank you!

How do we make homemade ice cream?

To get that spoonful of delicious and creamy homemade ice cream, we must first put our imagination aside and start with a basic vanilla ice cream recipe. Don't think about where to look for the perfect vanilla ice cream recipe, we found it and we will present it to you in the following.

Simple and creamy homemade ice cream

Any good ice cream starts with a good base, which essentially consists of milk and sugar, sometimes eggs that are cooked to thickening, cooled and then frozen. If you've ever made homemade pudding or burnt sugar cream, half the job is done.

In French ice cream recipes, yolks are added because they offer a denser texture but it is easy to cook too many eggs, especially if you are a beginner. There is also a version of an ice cream based on Philadelphia, or the American ice cream recipe that is based mainly on milk, sugar and different flavors. The latter being the simplest method but not the one that offers a soft, silky texture. In order not to compromise in terms of texture, but also to keep things simple - let's not forget that we live in the century of speed - ice cream eggs can be successfully replaced with cornstarch, thus disappearing the fear of obtaining an ice cream omelet.

Once the base is made, the process of obtaining ice cream begins: mixing and freezing. Most .

The simple way to do these things is with an ice cream machine. It is also the easiest method because it does all the work for us but requires investment in an ice cream machine.

If you are not willing to invest in an ice cream machine, you need to pour the ice cream base into an ice cream bowl and alternate between ice cream and vigorously mixed once every 30 minutes in the freezer. Constant mixing is very important because it prevents the formation of ice crystals. Once we got the perfect base, it would be a shame to "enjoy" an ice cream full of ice crystals, right?

After making the basic ice cream, the possibilities of flavors are endless: you can add coffee extract, caramel sauce, fruit or pieces of biscuits. Any flavor you choose the satisfaction of a simple creamy homemade ice cream, with vanilla flavor, is guaranteed, and we offer you a wide variety of ice cream recipes from which you can choose.

Basic vanilla ice cream recipe

250ml low fat cow's milk

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

In a medium pot with a thicker bottom, put 50ml of the fat cow's milk together with the one with a low fat content, salt and sugar. Leave the mixture on low heat until it reaches the boiling point, without burning the milk.

In another bowl, mix the starch well with the remaining fatty cow's milk so that no lumps form. Then pour the milk mixed with the starch into the hot mixture (the pot is over medium heat), stirring constantly, until it thickens and reaches the boiling point again. Turn the heat to low and leave for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly until it thickens even more. Then add the vanilla extract. Pour the whole mixture into a bowl and cool it on ice cubes. Allow the mixture to cool in the refrigerator for a few hours.

Then you have the option to use the ice cream machine or to do everything manually.
