Here's another thing I had never prepared before, Brussels sprouts. I have always had a prejudice on this vegetable mistakenly thinking that its taste resembled that of cabbage (which I don't like very much) and therefore it did not fit my hearts. A few weeks ago, searching for seasonal ingredients to make the October ingredients sheet for the Facebook page, I found them on my way and I was curious to taste them. After seeing how they clean and cook, I made the Brussels sprouts by stir-frying them with bacon and a clove of garlic and they were a delicious find, passed with flying colors and are sure to be among my winter side dishes again. ! Method
How to make Brussels sprouts with bacon
Clean the Brussels sprouts by removing the outer leaves and the base
Steam for 15 minutes
Brown a clove of garlic in a pan then add the diced bacon
Then add the sprouts and cook for 5 minutes
salt and pepper and serve
